The transnational project ISO QUAM provides an approach for a competence certification for a qualified metal worker (EQF levels 1 and 2) through a transfer of an existing model for competence certification schemes on the basis of the norm ISO 17024:2003.

This project will transfer this norm, which is already successfully used in other sectors, into the metal sector providing the first reliable and internationally recognized competence certification approach for low skilled or unskilled workers.

ISO QUAM (LLP-LDV-TOI-09-AT-0004) is funded by the action Leonardo da Vinci, Transfer of Innovation within the framework of the Lifelong Learning Programme.
